This new model was designed to eliminate fabric from bulking up in the front. I wanted a straight leg but with the thigh area snug. 

To keep the outseam's selvage, there had to be a lot of manipulation to the inseam in order to create the desired fit. The result was a stovepipe leg that bows very slightly from the knee to the hem.

The fabric's tonal hues and contrast stitching reflect the subtle and refined curation at Les Étoffes.

The back pockets and coin pocket are lined with the same material as the front pockets; a 7oz. Pakistani herringbone twill. The fabric was originally starch white, and it had sat on my shelf for years. I decided it's texture was too perfect for this run of jeans so I dyed it with black tea, turning it an off-white with a slight red hue.
